A Reddit user spent a week at a Tokyo capsule hotel. Here is his experience.
Look at this inviting and warm lobby. You buy a ticket out of the vending machine on the left to stay the night.
An elevator took him to the 7th floor, which was a hallway with the small square holes stacked two rows high on each side. His “room” was on the bottom.
No real door

The tv took ¥100 coins ($1 USD) to watch. And don’t be fooled by the window… it was bolted shut.
